Rostislav G. Khorenyan, Ph.D.
Principal
Dr. Khorenyan leads teams at GEN3 in St. Petersburg on innovation projects.
Prior to GEN3, he was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Physics and Technology at St. Petersburg State Technical University, where he lectured a course on "Fiber, Integrated and Gradient Optics." Earlier he was a Senior Researcher and Department Head at GRINDEX in St. Petersburg, Russia. At GRINDEX, he designed and manufactured gradient index optical systems for imaging and communication - including objective lenses and relay lenses for medical and technical endoscopes, within the fiber optics arena.
Dr. Khorenyan holds a Ph.D. in physics with a specialization in Physics of Semiconductors and Dielectrics, and an M.S. in physics of insulators and polymers, both from the Leningrad Polytechnical Institute. He is a certified Level 3 TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) practitioner.
