Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of GEN3, Mr. Dietz leads the firm’s global innovation consulting and services businesses and has overall responsibility for all services provided to the firm’s clients, as well as advancing GEN3’s leading-edge methodologies and practices in the field of innovation.
Prior to joining GEN3, he served in a number of senior leadership roles for Towers Perrin, a $1.4 billion global professional services firm. These included serving on the Executive Council that provided overall strategic and operational direction for the firm, as well as leading the North American Consulting business, and serving on the firm’s Board of Directors. Earlier, while serving on the leadership team of Cresap, McCormick and Paget, he led major assignments for clients such as Exxon, Novartis, Starwood and Sony, and founded a number of the firm’s industry practices.
Mr. Dietz served as an engineer and Army officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He earned his B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an M.S.C.E. from MIT, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer and Chairman of the Executive Forum.
