TRIZfest-2012 Annual Conference of the International TRIZ AssociationWhen: August 2-4 Where: Lappeenranta, Finland TRIZfest 2012 will cover topics on the development, application and integration of TRIZ, as well as TRIZ education and dissemination. GEN3's Dr. Simon Litvin will present on Adaptation Approach – Methodological Basis of TRIZ Solutions Substantiation and Dr. Sergei Ikovenko will give a presentation on Directions for Future TRIZ Development and Applications. Seven additional GEN3 colleagues will attend the conference to network and share insights with industry and academic peers. |

TRIZ Developers' SummitWhen: July 31-August 1 Where: St. Petersburg, Russia Founded in part by GEN3's Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Simon Litvin, the annual TRIZ Developers Summit is sponsored by MATRIZ and other partner organizations. The summit is conducted in the tradition of the scientific TRIZ seminars led by Genrich Altshuller, the founder of TRIZ, in the 1980's. The XXIII ISPIM ConferenceWhen: June 17-20 Where: Barcelona, Spain GEN3 was a sponsor at this year's ISPIM Conference – Action for Innovation: Innovating from Experience. The three-day conference featured keynote speeches by industry-leading practitioners and other innovation luminaries, as well as "Hot Topic" roundtable discussions and facilitated themed sessions. Over 450 innovation experts from 55 countries attended, where 230+ academic and practitioner presentations were delivered. GEN3's President & COO, Dr. Sam Kogan, moderated a session entitled, "Harnessing Innovation for Growth" and shared GEN3's approach to driving growth through innovation. SPI 2012When: May 21-22 GEN3's President & COO Dr. Sam Kogan and Senior Principal Dr. Ilya Ilyin attended the 2012 SPI forum, Science, Partnering, and Investment Forum, Gateway for the Global Life Sciences. SPI 2012 was a series of panel discussions and presentations by thought leaders in the Biotech Industry. The plenary program featured 80+ speakers. Marcus Evans 6th Annual Open Innovation ConferenceWhen: April 15-17 GEN3 served as a silver sponsor for the second year in a row at the Marcus Evans 6th Annual Open Innovation Conference, where attendees heard from leading executives about critical issues central to establishing and growing Open Innovation within an organization.
